Tourist Cable Car Turned Heart Pounding Workout. On Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017 Comments Off. The Manitou Incline has re-opened earlier than expected. It is now open for hiking. The Manitou Incline was built as a cable car to carry materials to build pipelines on Pikes Peak. After the pipelines were finished, it was turned into a tourist attraction.
